Puma City – Fan Pier Boston
Earlier this week Puma opened the doors to a select few to visit the Puma City at Fan Pier in Boston. Puma City is Puma’s mobile retail and event space. The space actually first debuted in Alicante, Spain at the start of the Volvo Ocean Race in September 2008. Puma also is a sponsor and member of the Racing Team that competes at the Volvo Ocean Race. The concept and design was created by PUMA and architects from LOT-EK . The retail, event space, and bar that will host activities, parties and festivities for Boston is free and open to the public until May 16th.
Nike iD Studio – WestChester Mall, NY
Nike recently relaunched their retail location at the Westchester Mall in White Plains, NY with an emphasis on of course customization, not only does this Concept Store have a Nike iD Studio for customizing sneakers but also a new concept called the Tee-Bar where customizing apparel is the focus. Like most Nike iD Studios each appointment is with a design consultant to help with the options and the footwear knowledge. The sneakers that are available for studio design are the Dunk, Dunk High, the women’s Dunk, the Air Max 90, the Air Max BW and the Air Force 25 low. Pics via Freshness Mag
Nike Running Club – Amsterdam
This specialty boutique was put in motion in a collaborative effort with the Amsterdam-based design agency Staat. Nike now previews new images of the store, more specifically the Nike Running Club… a mecca of everything running. With the goal of developing a runners paradise in Amsterdam, both parties want to create a special surroundings featuring clinics, Nike product, and other various running events. Pics via HB
Stussy Calgary Store
So Calgary now has an official Stussy boutique that is open to the public. The boutique space is located in downtown Calgary, they share a spacious lofty looking two-story space with the already existing Goodfoot/Ransom location. adidas SLVR New York Flagship- Opening
The NYC flagship store for the new label from adidas SLVR officially opened its doors this week. The first of 4 stand alone retail locations to open this year, the adidas SLVR New York is located in the ideal SoHo neighborhood which is the crossroad of fashion and trends. The concept of this adidas SLVR is “Reduced Complexity” and “Creative Soultion” which is a cool concept so you should see footwear and apparel soon.
Nike Taiwan- Jordan Brand “Shop in Shop”
On January 14th these Jordan “shop in shop” will offer the Jordan Brand Collection, both apparel & footwear. These specialty mini-boutiques are going to be in 5 different Nike Flagships and Nike Store locations within Taiwan. The mini-boutiques will also present Jordan fans the opportunity to purchase exclusive products, limited to the Asia market only. So if you are ever over in Taiwan definitely a spot to stop at… Jordan Brand bring this concept to the US!!!
Louis Vuitton Flagship Store //5th Ave NY
Now this is definitely something to see. New York is the perfect city for a building like this. Louis Vuitton’s flagship store on 5th Ave got a crazy wrap for the holidays. The vinyl display of Murakami’s iconic Monogram Multicolore print wraps around the building with neon lights shining through the windows. Paul Rodriguez is one of the coolest dudes cats in sneaker culture and we bring you exclusive info regarding his newly opened shop, Primitive. The shop Primitive is located in Encino, CA as it carries the top Nike SB products but also gets all of the urban account and quickstrike sneakers. They also stock the shelves with all the popular streetwear brand clothing. KICKS LAB is the most recent retailer to open within the Harajuku district of Tokyo. The boutique is easily located with its clear, floor-to-ceiling glass store front lined with sneakers. The name Kicks Lab is familiar to many because the new retailer started as the first sneaker trade show/event in Japan last year. Now the permanent store front allow owners to present shoppers with a wide array of exclusives sneakers from both the domestic Japanese market and abroad.

Nike recently announced a third House of Hoops location will be releasing in Chicago, at North Riverside Park Mall. Last weeks Footlocker and Nike just opened the “House of Hoops” in the Beverly Center Mall in Los Angeles. 5 YR Overkill – 17th October 2008
At 11:00 am official opening of the new designed OVERKILL Shop at Schlesisches Tor, Berlin Kreuzberg. Their new store is finally done. The big OVERKILL shop reopening will happen on Friday October 17th in the known location Köpenicker Strasse 195A in Berlin Kreuzberg. They are bringing about two floors that will give you the hottest sneaker- and streetcouture. Nike Sportswear Store Tokyo

Scheduled to open its door at Noon today on Tokyo’s watc Nike and its Nike Sportswear division will open its second stand alone flagship in Tokyo. Its prism-like exterior, clad in black, is the most recognizable building on its street resembling a stealth bomber. The interior is also very distinctive as well. A spacious maze-like layout reminding many of an M.C. Escher illustration. The Nike Sportswear Store Tokyo will also feature the Nike iD Studio, which will provide shoppers exclusive footwear designed by Nike’s long-term creative partners.
Nike Sportswear Flagship – 21 Mercer Street
The Sportswear website has been showing all of us exclusive merchandise and they hit us with the 21 Mercer Street Flagship in New York City. Nike just released preview photos of the retail space. The flagship store is located in prime realestate space @ 21 Mercer Street, at the boundary between Chinatown and SoHo neighborhoods.

Tradition has quickly become one of the top streetwear and sneaker boutiques in Southern California. The owners are Andrew Kline and Jason Gaines who were previously buyers at fashion hotspot Fred Segal, before partnering to open Traditon. Tradition is not only a sneaker store but a celebrity spotting haven, and it is definitely the place to go in Westlake Village. The same architecture firm that designed the stores of A Bathing Ape, Uniqlo, and Colette. The first two floors are devoted to an ice cream parlor theme while the 3rd floor encompasses an outer space theme.

Puma Boutique ATL- now open
The Atlanta Puma store had it’s Grand Opening on Thursday, September 6th. The store is full of cool ass displays and the Puma archives wall is the most interesting section in the store. If you live in the Atlanta area or visit often perhaps you might want to check it out when you get a chance. The store is located on the top level of Lenox Mall.
Rif LA
Located in the Little Tokyo district of downtown Los Angeles this might have been the coolest & most upscale sneaker store that I have been into. Very efficient and Rif La was just recently voted the best consigment store in La, beating out Undefeated and Flight Club La.
RIF Los Angeles is the sister store of LA Avenue in Tokyo, Japan which is one of the first consignment stores ever to open over 10 years ago. RIF LA continues the philosophy of LA Avenue by providing an 85/15 consignment service to our clients and a rich shopping experience for our customers.
