Athletic Propulsion Labs – (APL)

Athletic Propulsion Labs has created the first basketball shoe to instantly increase a player’s vertical leap. The initial release will in limited quantities, as APL features a breakthrough “Load ‘N Launch” patent-pending technology. The sneaker is designed to instantly increase the vertical leap of those who play in the shoes.  This revolutionary technology provides maximum rebound effect through a unique device to help propel the athlete upward. With a lightweight, sleek design featuring extensive carbon fiber synthetics, the line will be distinctive on and off the court. There has been a great response to the construction of the sneaker and also the colorway.

Also the company has plans of following up with the launch of the basketball product line with an Athletic Propulsion Labs running shoe line in early 2011, the sneaker will feature innovative running technology.

The sneaker will be available for Pre-Order on March 24th for $300 and you can order exclusively through the APL site.

Vid – Upset Gentlemen x Shoe Gallery x Adidas ZX 700 Boat

So recently the Adidas ZX 700 Boat shoe was collabed on by two distinct parties in Miami, Shoe Gallery and Upset Gentlemen which is formerly Miami Ink. We got a chance to sit down with Joey Hernandez of Upset Gentlemen as he talked with Sneaker Me Stupid about the design process and the collaboration with Shoe Gallery and Adidas.

The Miami lifestyle and culture has definitely shaped their views which is real dope. Joey Hernandez of Upset Gentleman (formerly “Miami Ink”) explains the concept behind the Adidas ZX 700 Boat Shoe; what separates Upset Gentleman from other brands; and their collaboration with the Miami boutique, Shoe Gallery.

The Adidas ZX 700 Boat Shoe is also commemorating the 30 Anniversary Year for the Shoe Gallery.
