This weekend on September 4th, Jordan Brand will presents the first sneaker from their new Air Jordan COMFORT Series. This is a collection that will fuse comfort and style with the classic elements that have made Jordan Brand what it is today. Derick G and Sneaker Me Stupid teamed up to do these product shots that gives a great look at the sneaker including detail and the lifestyle feel. This is Jordan CMFT Viz Air 11 coming in the Varsity Red and Varsity Royal colorway as the Air Max brings a popular feel from Nike. And a big thanks to Miami’s Bowtie South specializing in Custom Auto Restoration as we did these product shots in their garage.

The Lookbook is titled “Unconpromised” and DC rapper, hip hop/sneakerhead Wale is the featured in the photos. The Lookbook have both retros and new designs featured throughout. Are you all going for the new or the retro silhouettes? Because don’t forget that we will be getting the Air Jordan 13 in the three classic colorways. As the “Playoff” 13s are confirmed as releasing since they show up in this lookbook. We also get a better look at the “Foamposite” Air Jordan 1 that have been stirring up a lot of conversation, and will drop in five different colorways, hats off the Jordan and Wale !
Seems like we are seeing rappers, hip hop heads, musicians, and other artists in sneaker culture more than athletes in some Nike and Jordan Brand ads… Your thoughts?

Pro BMX biker Nigel Sylvester celebrated his 23rd birthday this past Monday night. Nigel turned 23 on the 23rd so the Birthday was an even bigger deal, the event was hosted by DJ Clark Kent and LTD’s “Hawaii” Mike (Vibe, Nike 6.0, Hennessy Black, and Corona Extra served as the sponsors) conveniently named “23 on 23.” The party was held at 8Bond Studio – again conveniently located at 8 Bond St – in Lower Manhattan, and the Queens biker received so much NYC hometown love.
It’s been quite a ride so far for Nigel becoming the sponsor guy for Gatorade and Nike. Check out the photo recap from Va$htie

Here is a first look at the creation process and a behind-the-scenes look into the making of Kanye West’s music video for the single Power, directed by Marco Brambilla.
Kanye is definitely the music artist that will consistently push the boundaries of music, art, and design. And this video will prove why Mr. West has had so much staying power in the music industry.
”Power shows a continuous camera move from extreme close-up of Mr. West revealing an a neoclassical video tableau showing characters and creatures surrounding him in an abstract environment – all moving in extreme slow motion. Inspired by Michelangelo’s frescos in the Sistine Chapel, the piece depicts a faux historical moment – an empire on the brink of collapse from its own excess, decadence and corruption.” This trailer was produced by The 88. Enjoy!
Nike has also mentioned that they will or might create some more sneakers with Mr. West as they previously went in on the Nike Air Yeezys, and I know everyone is excited to hear this news straight from the source. (@NikeSportswear )
