A little history lesson from the folks over at Standard. So this is the first color way ever of the Air Max 1 which debuted in 1987. The Air Max 1 was the first shoe with a visible air bubble that you could see. But the visible air concept that the sneaker features was actually an accident, that is just how things happen sometime. The bag was too big for the mid sole to close around in the molding process and it kept leaving an open window, engineers decided to keep it how it was. But its funny because this accident revolutionized Nike as a sneaker company. These sneakers will retail for $92. For phone orders call 404.355.1410 or just stop by Standard in Atlanta.
