2011 of course it won’t stop and we are going to get lots of gifts as Air Jordan retro releases. The are minor changes such as ‘Nike Air’ for the Jumpman or removing reflective 3M material makes an easy way to tell vintage from retros. There are tiny details you can use to differentiate between 98′s original Air Jordan XIII ‘Playoffs’ and the upcoming 2011 release. The longer leather toxbox and the outer upper jewel appearing more green are the most obvious changes.

Air Jordan XIII was a significant as it was Michael Jordan’s “Black Cat” on-court persona; calculating and aggressive. Main features are the  whisker-esque textured panels, a paw-like midsole/outsole, and a cat’s eye hologram. Jordan marched through the 1997-98 regular season and most of the playoffs in XIII along with the NBA All Star Game, first time this sneaker has came back to retail!
