WHAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE 8&9?

8&9: Basically represents strength in numbers. Eight and nine are the last two single digits in the number system. In any culture these numbers are constant… never changing as they appeal to everyone whether they surf, skate, or are involved with the street/urban culture. Numbers are a universal language!
WHAT WAS THE BIGGEST INFLUENCE OF THE IDEOLOGY OF 8&9?

8&9: Having lived in Boston, New York, and Miami there would have to be a mix of seeing and being involved with different aspects of life. The style we want to provide is eclectic and we were into skateboard culture before the X-games or street culture before it became commercial. We remain true to what we believe and stand for.

WHERE DOES THE DIFFERENTIATION COME FROM?

8&9: All the designs that we create through 8&9 have a deeper depth than the average person can pick up. We almost fill like we represent the 5% philosophy…being that 85% are drones, 10% rule the drones, and our 5% overstand as they understand our concepts.

Owner Ray Guilbault

8&9 redefines thought, style, and motivation. 8&9 says that “Before the street wear market ever existed 8&9 was merging music, art, and fashion with a fushion of skate & hip-hop swagger.”

The products that 8&9 provide to the market have been highly regarded as premium material used for the t-shirts and the denim. They are seeming to have an advantage as they pin point the consumers with a product that can’t be denied. Sneakerheads and sneaker buyers love to kill the game when the step out in the box fresh product and 8&9 offers what they seem to need. 8&9 is making moves and planning to continue their success by offering product that basically sells itself.

8&9 has been making a strong presence by hitting sneaker expos with their exclusive products. What are perfect market for them to branch into. They shut down the Miami and the New York DunkxChange as they wrote up product orders and gave the people what they wanted. The fall line which has recently dropped known as “The Back to School Collection” . Sneaker Me Stupid notices that 8 &9 is developing a strong presence and things seem to be working in their favor. I saw 8&9 at dunkxchange, pretty tight stuff and a good booth w/ sneakers and all. I like it and the girls w/ sneakers dont hurt.

We’ve been working with 8&9 for years now and last December we were at Hot Import Nights Miami and got mad compliments on the shirts.

Can’t wait for some denim to drop.
